I designed this 3mm thick, black-anodized, aluminum mounting plate as an interposer to mount my radio under the seat of my Land Rover Discovery. The plate was designed using Front Panel Designer V3.5 and manufactured by Front Panel Express (frontpanelexpress.com). The cost of the panel (including shipping) was around $46. The .fpd file can be downloaded and adapted for other vehicles or applications, just move the corner mounting holes to wherever you need them. One can also re-size the plate, change anodizing color (or remove anodizing entirely to save money), add additional engraving, etc.
